Like CBR929 mentioned CCleaner works just fine and you have a choice to back up the registry before you delete. You only delete the ones related to DVDFab

Is PassKey running when you are using Fab to open the disc???
If so you have to disable passkey and let Fab open the disc

no the version of passkey I had expired a while ago and was uninstalled a while ago too.

It was just the only things related to DVD fab I found in the registery using that CCleaner. So Im unsure what to do now.

If you removed Passkey from computer already then also remove what CCleaner found for it. Since not needed any more and could be the source of the problem

Guess will have to see what a developer says since you are using Windows 2000. This could be a problem with that OS system

What was the last version that had iron man 2 working??

wasn't it 8017 I think from the bigger thread on it here???

Any way I can get a download of that to try????

8017 is not available and is no longer supported since it has been replaced by newer versions. Have you tried installing DVDFab on your C: drive?

In addition to signals' comments, I doubt that 8017 will work for you anyway.
I believe this is the thread you were talking about and 8017 worked for some users, but for many it did not.
Apparently there are multiple versions of the R1 disc out there.

                          Do ya think it matters?

F is just my large drive with 70+ gigs of space, all the other drive only have a few gigs of space or less.

It should not really matter, but something on your system is causing a problem. After installing to the default location on the C: drive you can put the DVDFab temp files on the F: drive in Common Settings.

Well least we know its not that then, or should be.

changed drive letters of the install, even tried fat32 and NTFS no change.
