Everything can be fixed if the developers have enough information. Post the internal log entry from this most recent attempt.

*Sigh* Sorry guys, still no improvement, if anyone has had their problem like mine solved by these updates, please let the folks know but I'm still suffering this same problem, will continue to use my workaround for now :/

I have the exact same problem. My solution is to rip DVDs to AVI instead of xbox 360. You might need to update your xbox, but it will play .avi files and only requires one rip.

                  Hello,

I frequently have freezes and stutters on AVI (generic) ripped movies. If it happens, it is usually about 20 minutes from the end of the movie.

The symptoms are the video is choppy (looks like it slows down the fps) while the audio continues. This happens for about 30 secs at the most, then continues normally.

I have watched a few of the same movie rips on my PC and laptop with no problems, so I'm thinking it may be xBox streaming in my case. I'm wireless N with a good signal.

I'm planning on running a hardwire to the xbox to see how that works.

                  Brian

                    Hi.

My freezes occur when I view the .wmv file on my PC and my Hardwired XBox360.

                          Hi jimkress999,
Please disable pathplayer in common setting \ DVD/Blu-ray \PathPlayer then try it again. What about the profile "xbox360.wmv.wma9" ? Try it. Thanks.

wma9 does not support 6 channel sound so it is not useful.

wma9 does not support 6 (5.1) channel sound so it is not useful.

I will try again with PathPlayer disabled.

                              Disabling PathPlayer is no help.

                                Hey Guys

I have the same problem and i tried using a vob instead of wmv.wma9 but the Xbox does not detect the .vob file . Is there any trick for xbox 360 to see the .vob file

I am using a nas hard drive and not media center

                                Any help appreciated
