DVD Ripper DVD's aren't finishing

I've been having problems ripping DVDs, in general, for the past week. Holiday Inn, Seven Pounds, 12 Angry Men, and Family Stone all haven't worked. In that period of time, all of the DVDs have copied to the HD fine and are playable. I am using the iPad profile - multichannel and regular depending on the DVD. I'm wondering whether something changed on my computer or DVDFab. I have tried both the current beta version and version 8.1.2.5. Here is the log of the last attempted conversion, Seven Pounds:

I have to cancel he conversion because it just stops working. They all seem to happen around the 15-25% completion mark.

I've tried turning the Pathplayer off but that didn't change anything on three of the DVDs. I did not try it for this last one though.

I tried the movie Seven Pounds with the set up for the AppleTV. The process didn't freeze but did fail. Here are the logs:

Have you tried making new rips to your HDD from the original discs? When you have time, please try it with v8.1.2.8 with Holiday Inn or 12 Angry Men.

Yes. I made new rips onto the hard drive for all the movies - that didn't work. I also tried to convert some directly from the DVD itself. That also didn't work. The DVDs play completely on my DVD player and the copies play without incident on my computer. They just won't complete a conversion. Thanks for the help.

I've gotten this error when attempting 2 passes. If that's what you're doing then turn up the bit rate to about 1600 and try 1 pass.

New update: I have been able to convert a Friends DVD by individual episode but I still can't convert the files as stated above. Today I tried converting a copy of A Christmas Story with the subtitles on it from a copy I have on the HDD. I have previously been able to convert this file to AppleTV format but it will stops at 15% completion (roughly) trying to convert it now.

I can't seem to figure out what is happening. The log files are listed below. Any help would be great.

Check the default audio, if its 5.1 Multichannel @448kpbs it will error out every time. If you really need 5.1 don’t set the bit rate any higher than 256kpbs and it should work fine.

I have to stop the process because it never finishes. The fps disappears and it just hangs. CBR929 - sorry for not correctly spelling past(e). Not sure whether you are saying I'm doing it correctly or you are pointing that out.
