BD Ripper (3D Plus) Anchorman Audio Sync Issue

I have attempted to rip the Blu-Ray title "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" multiple times but each time the audio is approximately 1 second ahead of the video.

I have tried with several revisions including the most recent v9.1.3.3 but the issue continues to happen. Can you please attempt to correct this in the next release?

Or does anyone know of a app to bump the audio back 1 second without re-encoding the video?

Try to convert to mkv.audiocopy or passthrough profiles?

i can't seem to get the sound synced either using your suggestion, but i also can't get the forced subs to stick in this movie when i rip to MKV... they are near the end, around 1:24:15, when the dog speaks to the bear... can you help with that?

About force subtitle i think you make sure you choosed the right sub includ force subtitle. You can ripped the chapter that includ force subtitles selected. The force sub often exites in different way.

To Dora: I can confirm that I also am having trouble with Anchorman. Sound appears to get out of sync with the movie. Using mkv profile.

To Op: As for the forced subs, Achorman has all forced subs on track 3. I suggest editing the mkv container to set that track as forced.

I'd like to add that I was able to fix the sync issue by remuxing the MKV file with a 600 ms audio delay.

yes, this is a common problem with most movies... "direct render to video" was finally the fix for Elysuim, so i tried it with this one as well (note with Copy video check this option goes away)... i believe the 3rd English track has the forced subs, but choosing it and choosing "forced subtitles only" doesn't seem to work.

I know this is an old thread, but I came across it while having the same issue (sound sync issue with Anchorman). I found a "solution" that I thought I would share. I typically rip as MKV passthrough. I tried other formats but still had the same issue.

On a whim, before ripping I clicked the "Edit" button a the top of the DVD ripper screen, then selected "Trim", then changed the beggin time to 00:00:02 and changed the end time to trim off one second (in my case, changed the end time from "01:34:06" to "01:34:05"). So, I trimmed 3 seconds in all. It ended up trimming just black screen in both cases, so didn't impact the final viewing experience, and it seemed to force the video and audio into sync! The final MKV passthrough file was perfectly in sync. Perhaps just trimming as little as one second from one end would have had the same result.

Anyway, just thought I would share since it seemed like a fairly easy workaround that others may find helpful.
