Same here. I put mine in D:\Rips\Alien and there is an AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS directory under this. Only the VIDEO_TS has content (IFO's, BUP's & VOB's).

Let's then check that the rip is OK by playing with VLC by playing from the D:\RIPS\ALIEN folder.

Then download the Samsung Profile and copy it to C:\Program Files\DVDFab 6\Profiles

Haha, ok. Is it alright that I have the collector's edition? If so, I'll go back and import that one (I accidentally imported Predator instead because I thought there woudl be a conflict with possible different versions of Alien).

Now start up fab again, DVD to Mobile & select the Samsung profile. You may have to press on more, then open the alien directory, not the video_ts directory as the source,

Mine just says 20th anniversary.

I am importing Alien from the DVD right now. As soon as it is done, I will load the folder as the source, load up the Samsung profile, and encode the movie. Which one shoudl I do?

On mine it selects title 1 which is 1:53:53 long and selects the AC-3/5.1 audio track, no subtitles.

I can click on the preview window and bring up full screen with sound, ESC to go back to preview size.
