    fabCore.exe crash - codecs.dll fault

Hi, I downloaded the trial and attempted to use file to PVP, but while the DVDfab performs the task, the fabCore.exe crashes and whole process fails...

I also have a problem with the whole program crashing when attempting to add or remove sub title files via the External Subtitle Settings menu.

There's also a third issue not included in the thread's title. I can't seem to get the program to allow me to create a profile for my PVP when clicking 'New'.

Firstly, DVDfab won't allow me to select anyting in the 'Moblie Device' dropdown. Or better said, there's nothing in there and clicking the dropdown does nothing. I can select an image and type something into 'Show Text' as well as "Tip Text", but the program appears to ignor all that without a Mobile Device showing in the first dropdown and clicking OK fails to create anything.

Are there any of you having these issues or is it that I perhaps have a bad installation? Or maybe this only happens with the trial?

As Signals, said please provide us with more info so that we can help.

The trial is fully operational so that will not be an issue.

One thing though that I would like you to try is to uninstall Fab, make sure that you download the latest beta and install it and run it as "Administrator" and report back the results.

Did you try the "administrator" option and what EXACT profile are you using?

This is the attempt to convert the file> The user name on the PC is the admin, I've tried with several profiles, this one was the PVP - Archos 605 as the player I'm thinking to get this software for will be the Archos 5 Android. The program got to about 80% and simply closed. Here's the log and error report for this session.

              1. What are the details of the file that you are trying to convert? Download and inspect the file with MediaInfo. I presume that you are trying to use "File to Mobile"?
              2. What is your operating system. Full details please.
              3. I said Administrator, not admin. To do this right click on the Fab icon and then "Run as Administrator"

I could've sworn I said I was using 'file to'... attempting to work with PVP profiles...

The administrator account didn't even have a password and this error still occurs. I gave it a PW'd and that still don't work.

All this information was already in the attached files requested by signals, but here you go...
