I wonder why none of DVDFab's own programs are not listed? They copy too, don't they?

When I first downloaded DVDPassKey(Beta), I misunderstood how it worked: I thought that it was a replacement "VOB" Windows Media Player plug-in that would copy the data from the movie as it was played to some file. I thought this was a really smart idea because:
How come my computer can play ANY DVD (in my region), but can't copy that data to a DVD image?

Well anyway, if someone could figure this one out (replacing the direct-x DVD playing plug-in with one that redirects the DVD data to a DVD image file), then we would have a DVD copier that could copy any DVD (and probably Blu-Ray as well) that can be played...which is about 100%, right? (I have yet to find a DVD that wouldn't play on my computer.)

Passkey does not work with every instance of Nero Recode (i.e. Nero 9).

If it is the case that Passkey has been proven in testing to work with Nero, then documentation showing in what way, and how it was accomplished should be provided to the readers of the forum where the claim is made.

The only qualifier required for evaluating information in this thread is a little common sense. Please check the date of any post. Passkey was found to work with the listed application version that was in common use at the time of the post (and which is frequently listed). If you have contradictory information about a newer version of a specific application you are welcome to add it to this thread and/or start a problem report thread in the Passkey sub-forum, which I notice you chose not to do. Facts are welcome here, opinions not so much.

Works perfect with videoredo. Just open the dvd in videoredo and rip to any format you want.
