DVDFab Passkey is great!!!
OMG!! I love it! It remove the encryption on the fly.
This how to use the program, or how I use it.
1. It automatically loads in my Windows XP Task bar.
2. I insert my DVD. It "opens" the DVD or removes the encryption.
3. I use the utility DVD Shrink to shrink my the DVD data and create my .ISO file.
4. I use IMG burn to burn my .ISO files to a DVD.
I'm running Windows XP, Gateway laptop.
I use DVD Shrink and IMG burn.
Love, love, love DVD Passkey.

1ClickDVD Copy has new versions that do not need, the advanced I/O settings.. Passkey is a fantastic program that allows you to use what you have already bought on your computer. But in my opinion, look at all the options you get in DVD Fab Platinum plus you will never need anything else. I have no idea what Fengtao Software will charge for Passkey but IMO, no matter what it costs DVD FAB Platinum is the better option.Last edited by Chameleon; 04-11-2010, 01:42 PM.Programmer in Python, Java, JavaScript, Swift, PHP, SQL, C#, C++, Go, R

DVDFab and Passkey are different products, one does not replace the other, both will be fully supported. If you already have DVDFab DVD to DVD or other options, Passkey is still handy for certain jobs with 3rd party applications that do not decrypt or are no longer supported. For example, I use it with DVDSubEdit for a quick check before ripping if I suspect a disc has forced subs.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Unless the plan is to eventually make DVDFab more like AnyDVD.Programmer in Python, Java, JavaScript, Swift, PHP, SQL, C#, C++, Go, R

DVD Fab on the other hand is a full suite of DVD programs that cannot be replaced. Passkey in my opinion wont be free forever, just in its beta phase. When itsreleased, and you already own Fab, you wont need it, unless you want to use a third party application.

Hi ,
I find it still faster with Nero Recode . It does all what DVDShrink and IMGBurn
can do but at once and on the fly .

Works with PowerDVD 9
Currently using PassKey on a Windows 7 machine running PowerDVD 9 from Cyberlink and it works great. No matter what drive I insert the disc into Passkey recognizes it and automatically starts the PowerDVD player for playback. I wish it would stay free going forward. Maybe include it free with any lifetime product purchase.
