Hello all.
I am new to the product of DVDFab. I mainly got DVDFab 10 (x64) to convert some media files (.mkv to .mp4, etc.).
However, I see that it can also rip UHD 4K discs; so, I thought I would give it a shot.
I have a 4K drive in my computer, a Pioneer BD-RW BDR-211M. So, I thought I'd see if this DVDFab software could rip a 4K disc I have so I could put its contents on my solid state drive (the movie Batman vs Superman).
However, after launching the software and putting the movie disc in the Pioneer drive, I run into an error message.
The software seems like it's starting to work, as I see it loading the 4K disc (I see the title's name come up of Batman vs Superman), like it's trying to read the disc, but then this message shows up:
"DVDFAb could not found a matching entry in the free keys file for the inserted disc." And I think there was a grammatical error there; I believe the beginning of the sentence was supposed to be, "

Anyway, anybody know what this means? Does this have to do with DRM? That this 4K disc is too tightly encrypted to rip?
And one more thing while I'm here.
I see that DVDFab has a Media Player 5 out. This program claims to be able to play 4K discs, and, you can use a discrete graphics card to do this. I currently have PowerDVD to play 4K discs, however, with that software program, there's a caveat: You have to use the on-board Intel graphics embedded in the motherboard. I have an EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 SC graphics card, whose graphics are far superior to Intel's.
So, any help with my ripping error message with the 4K disc of Batman vs Superman?
And any info or insight into Media Player 5?
Thanks in advance,
Pez
