Fine, the Save Password dialog appeared from ChromeStreamFab 6.2.0.2 Changelog
New: Some improvements on the Built-in Browser Engine of StreamFab.
Thats probably why the size is so much bigger:
streamfab_x64_6201 485 MB
streamfab_x64_6202 684 MB
6201 StreamFab64.exe 95 MB
6202 StreamFab64.exe 252 MB

is not an adequate description of now having a feature requested dozens of times, finally in the tool.
.. also not a word about the fact that SF is no longer usable under Win7 - info

Yep, the handful of old-timer users shouldn't block progress.
Especially if it were necessary for >95% of users.
And the StreamUpdate should detect Win7 and block 6202 Upgrade.

I agree entirely. Sooner or later one must succumb to the pressure of progress despite the fact idiocy and ineptitude are the driving factors. I still and will continue to maintain Win10 was designed for ID10Ts and Win11 for MacIntrashers.
Inaccurate claims of support for deprecated operating systems could very well mean refunds and angry purchasers. I was originally one stuck with Win7 until I took the initiative to research, test and upgrade all the programs I relied on in Win7 to function properly in Win11. This took much time and much work.
Updating the CEF is going to resolve a number of annoyances I previously ran into with browser version incompatibilities.
An OS version check before install would be the least expected from even marginally adequate coders.Last edited by NewMelle; 10-26-2024, 07:52 PM.Win11 Pro 22H2, no bloatware, no spyware, no crapware, no TPM, no Secure Boot, no MS account. And yes, you can dual boot 7 and 11.

But you don't need 6167 "scripts from an archaic version"
To analyse only a already started episode you can comment the lines 353+354 with #
For "Movie Modus" (with possible dl) you need to comment also the lines 273+274
But you can only download each episode individually ..
.. because of the same name you cannot add multiple episodes to the queue

Windows 10 keys are dirt cheap and still has a year of support left.
Windows 11 keys are not too pricey either, just find a legit seller. And 11 can be run on unsupported hardware with helper programs.
Believe it or not, you don't have to go that far back to find hardware not supported by Windows 11.

If the system is more than a decade old there is a chance there won't be Win11 drivers for all the devices. Usually there is if it's not that old. My MB is from 2012 and Win11 is fine with it but I doubt I would have been that lucky had it been older. The firmware was updated to 2016 as well.
Yes, adding entries to the LabConfig registry keys allows one to install Win11 with no TPM, no RAM check and no CPU check. In short I had no other choice. There is an open source answer file generator that strips out most of the bloat and BS during install as well.
I knew the day was coming when I had to put Win7 on the back burner, it just took enough issues to prompt me to do so. Legitimate working Win10 OEM keys are $4 or less and Win11 $6 or so. I was able to run newer software in a Win11 virtual machine but that was only to buy time to migrate everything over to Win11 from Win7 and I can tell yo it was no picnic.
I can empathize with those still running Win7 and the upgrade path is problematic and therefore understand their reluctance.
