    Tips for the player:
    • Do not bother to set the date and clock, on mine it is not rememebred after power off.
    • The SD card slot suppports up to at least 16GB cards (32GB on order) and it supports FAT32 and NTFS formatted cards, so long movies at high bitrates which would exceed FAT32 abilities are supported. Insert the SDHC card with the gold contacts facing front (towards you).
    • You can use smaller than maximum frame sizes, they still look very good.
    • There are more brightness levels than the values that are listed in the manual.
    • For best results with the FM Tuner, plug in the earphones or plug the external video cable into the earphone jack to serve as an antenna.
    • You can change the aspect ratio and zooming by pressing the "mode" button while a movie is playing, then using -> to go over to the icon that looks like two white pieces of paper, one in front of the other, then press "mode" again.
    In most cases mode=enter.

Thanks Signals for the heads up! I finally got mine today. It looks fairly decent. Out of the box the screen had a lot of scratches on it. I removed the clear screen cover and it looks a lot better. I'm not sure it was worth the wait, but I'm glad I finally got it.

        @Signals

Are you saying that it supports a 32GB card or not? What size is the Max for the memory card? Thanks

All my 32GB cards are full size SD, I don't have a 32GB microSD card yet, I have one on order.

Signals, I understand that it is a micro SD but you mentioned something about 16GB max, so I'm wondering what GB size micro SD cards it will accept. 8, 16, 32...? There's nothing in the documentation I can find that says. Thanks

He never said anything about 16GB max. What he said is

Notice the part that says "at least 16GB", at least != max

So you don't know if a 32GB will work?

As I said, not yet. I have one on order. Should be here in a day or two, I will update the tips list after I test it.

Just a posting to let folks know that they sent an email on the 15th of December and the USPS delivered the player 4 weeks later to the Western US, here in Oregon.
Be patient, slow boat to China goes both ways
At work right now, have a choice to play with this or sleep tonight...
                      ... nighty night!
                      enjoy

Well ordered in Nov and email for shipping info was on Dec 6th. Still not here in the midwest.

Sent an email to dvdfab to get shipping info / track number and have not received anything back in a few days. Going to give it one week more and then dispute the CC payment.

Sad as I have used the dvdfab standard for a few years and just did the all in one for the blue ray support and new products.

Please be patient, the shipping from such a great distance can be a problem. The USA holidays over which this parcel traveled may also have slowed it down.

                            32GB Card Experience

                            32GB Patriot MicroSDHC Class10 works.
You will most definitively use a card reader to transfer files, max transfer is 2.5 MB/sec with a "well tested" micro USB cable hooked directly to the USB3 mobo header. Same card using a generic SD card reader w/micro adapter writes at 15.4 MB/sec off the front (fake USB3) to internal USB3 mobo header.
A Sandisk16GB Class2 has the same dismal results, were as with the card reader to USB3 port it will do around 9 MB/sec.

Already got quite a few hard lock-ups, removing the battery did not reset.
10 second press on the play/pause button will shut down, but (off/on = play/pause) will still boot into a hard lock with no screen activity.
Changing out different micro cards sometimes gets you to a boot-able home screen.
Booting up while plugged into a PC with or with out has worked, but not as often.
The hard lock with no screen activity is easy to verify when you connect to a Win7 PC it will give an error message that the device is unrecognized or "driver is not installed" message.
This is usually related to buggy FirmWare with a possible (my guess) miss-engineered circuit board.

                            Battery is:
                            BP-4L 3000MAH 3.7V
On the bottom of the battery:
                            BENPARR COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY - GB/TI8287-20000

IMHO, not to impressed with the user interface, really can't see any improvement as-is.
The fact that it uses a touch screen software interface without a touch screen seems cheesy at best.
Even with a mature F/W release, this will always be a child's toy due to the substandard implantation of the user interface.

                                So Question

[QUOTE=llmackie;107018]Trust me I have and she's been useless. Sent me a tracking number that shows nothing. QUOTE]

You said (tracking number that shows nothing) then you tell us you have yours. did your tracking number ever show any-thing? Just wondering because I'm in the same boat. Sunny with support has been very good And answer each email for me just very slow shipping, but it makes one feel better to know they are geting here. even if it's later than sooner.
