Hi. I have three optical drives on a win 7 64 machine, two sata and one usb3. I wish to copy from two or all three of them to hdd at the same time but DVDFab makes that difficult (unless I am doing something wrong).
If I put disks in two of the optical drives then start DVDFab it scans both drives and I can then select which drive I want to use. Fair enough, but that takes some time. The issue is if I then start another instance of DVDFab it again scans both drives even if the first instance is already copying from one of the drives. The problem multiplies if I try to run three instances of DVDFab.
I would rather have DVDFab not read optical drives AT ALL when it starts until I tell it to, and I want to tell it which drive I want it to read.
I remember reading some time ago a comment by one of the staff here that they recognized that DVDFab could use some improvement in handling multiple optical drives but I can neither find that post again nor can I see any improvement being made (I have both 8 and 9 installed).
It's frustrating and I'm hoping that someone here can shed some light on the issue. Thanks.
