Are you copying the dvd or blu-ray version? I have the region B blu-ray version, version 8.1.3.2 with lifetime license dvdfab. Updated video card drivers and firmware for my burner, and it won't copy. I seems that the region b blu-ray version cannot be copied at the moment. (I've been waiting for 4 weeks for this to be fixed).

Xmen First Class region B still has not been able to backup with DVDFAB. Its not anyones hardware or settings -- its DVDFAB hasnt a key for it. I wish someone from DVDFAB would give us an update if it can be or will be done. I hope this is not going to happen on a regular basis or that it is becoming harder for DVDFAB to get the keys---bottom line its not anyones system--its just theres no key for it from DVDFAB

Thanks for the info. In addition to the logs (which some of you did not supply) the developers also need the region and country of the disc. They are monitoring this thread and will bring you a solution ASAP.

Signals, just to let you know, it is the Region B disc that people are having problems with. As for the country, i didn't think that it mattered, as long as you had the region the disc was encoded for. To help you out, I have the Region B disc and live in Australia. I have also included my logs for you as well.

You know... studios don't just release 3 discs in the world, an A, a B and a C
There can be several configurations out there, especially Europe is tricky with lots of audio tracks in all those languages. Due to space constraints they need to make at least 3-4 audio configurations (eg. a disc with French/German, one with Italian/Spanish/Portuguese, one with Polish/Russian/Czech, etc, etc).
So, at times, it will not suffice to say I have a region B disc that does not work, it may just be 1 out of 3-4 that does not work and it's the exact one distributed in your area and affecting you. Obviously people in other 2-3 discs areas won't complain and won't go to the forum to see this thread and tell you: hey, my B disc works. Anyway, it would be even more confusing if they did, isn't it? That's why moderators and developers will ask sometimes a bit more information from you... and thank you for providing it

Btw: if the studio is doing a combo release (BD/DVD), they cannot distribute the same mix in UK and Australia, for instance, because of the DVD region which is different. Of course, they could just swap the dvd disc with the right region, but then it will not help them when trying to confuse you why other B disc blu-ray works I mean they went that far to add the BD+ protection to the disc, it's just a matter of how much the care about that movie to make two or more different BD+ protection for same language configurations. If you look back in the "Avatar is supported now" thread, you'll find that they released in US two discs with same languages but different BD+ protections.
