Is There an update for this?

Paid 8.1.2.5 ImgBurn to burn - same issue, different steps....

      Transformers: Dark of the Moon

      1st time - full disc - wouldn't read parts
2nd time - movie only seemed to read and rip to HD folder, normal size & time
ImgBurn burned to disc in normal time
Disc would not read in player - black screen, readout says menu/jumping chapters does an instant kickout and revert to menu

      3rd time - movie only - would not read/looping

      Rebooted computer

4th time - movie only, read normal size, time (different from 2nd time)

Currently ripping to HD but rip time is waaaaaay long - started out at 3:54 - now at 1:55 at 22 minutes gone......

ooops, now up to 27 min gone and time is back up to 3:03.......

      will report result

....don't know why so long, seems like my size will end up similar to yours and it seems that someone else on the thread had that size also..

...weird thing is the preview is running and the play is choppy but the audio is real time.....

....maybe this is running the rip in real time?

Turn off the preview when ripping it has been proven to cause extended rip time.

Thanks - usually rip full disc and have never had it play before.....

I will let this rip complete (as I cannot turn off the preview now...) and see if it did indeed actually rip this time.

online it says 157 minutes. but it seems like the last few minutes of mine are cut.

if I copy main movie it should all be there heh>?

...ah, 1:19 minutes into rip, getting "error reading"
                        54%
                        aborting and redoing without preview....

I think my file is short. I play it and its the end but not the total end ..it stops. looks like its just a few short if the end

well, now the read is getting read errors....

                            will reboot and retry.

rebooted and looked at the log - showed the read errors were "pathplayer drive error 1" so I disabled pathplayer and reopened.

Disk read fine (main movie - 68) and ripped just fine to hd - however, folder size was 2.33 and imgburn burned it fine........in playing it ran to chapter 1-12 (chapter jumped to there, started playing it...) and the the dvd player flashed all kinds of numbers etc. and reverted to the beginning. The burn was just half the disc in looking at it.

Don't know what to try next.....
