I think I figured out the solution to the issue with District 9. When you get the error message that comes up, click on IGNORE ALL and it will read the rust of District 9 and complete it. Good luck all.

I have mine set on "Ask Retry/Ignore/Abort when reading errors", I did NOT get any error msgs. Something is definitely different, but what !!

Make sure ALL boxes are checked in the Protection/DVD tab !!

If you ignore all errors it takes a little while but it will complete. Mine had to ignore almost 300 errors but it seems to play just fine.

In movie only mode it copies fine till the the final 5 - 7 seconds then hangs forever. Tried to do this about 5 times - finally my system went into PIO mode and had to reset DMA. Also tried with 6210 Beta. Same thing.
With Pathplayer disabled it cannot even read the disc.
          Anyone tried this movie.
i had the same problem and thought i messed up but now i know i am not the only one i am runing it on my dvd player but dvd fab is a better program i hope we can get back to the normal program thanks dvd fab and merrychristmas

I ignore all and it skipped 272 unreadable sectors. Some were at 2.97% & 66.7% when copying Full Disc. I don't know if it affects the movie. I will watch it later.

i am using 2 drives to backup the movie - one for the original, one for the blank dvd. dvdfab loaded the movie and started the process. i think it stopped at 2%.

                all help appreciated.

                  Let me add the following.

I only did the MAIN MOVIE.
Be patient and it will read the rest of the movie.

Had the exact same problems as the OP. Tried various setting to no avail.
Oddly enough it appears to backup just fine using DVD Shrink alone.

                        District 9

I tried both 6205 and the new beta 6215 (main movie) a number of times always with the same result, it would stop at 99.8% and go no further. But get this, I still had an old version of DVDFab kicking around (5232) so I thought, what have I got to lose? I ran it through that version and not only did it copy, everything appears to be normal. Go figure.

I have tried many different ways using 6.2.0.5 and beta 6.2.1.5 both paid full versions with District 9 Region 1 and have had no luck. Keep getting read errors. Trying now just by hitting ignore all. So far 41 minutes in on reading with 33 more to go.

I'm using paid version 6.2.0.5. and did Main Movie only. It got to about 1 second left and then the read error popped up. I hit ignore once and it completed in about 16 1/2 minutes.

                                using 6.2.0.5 (paid) version.

                                error: TASK_1 failed! Error=102 ()

only 2.97%, read, on full disc mode.

movie portion only: processed up to 99.75% only, then failed.
