just tried it, worked perfectly with pathplayer off. No pixellation, no freezing, all there too.
Thank you for the help, because I would have not tried it with pathplayer off.

Just to echo a workaround while waiting for the fix . .. DVD Shrink worked for me too using title 66; previewed it and played to the credits w/no probs.

I watched the store bought disk and it messes up close to the end of the movie.

Trying the old DVD Shrink workaround ...

Interesting ... am also a long time user. As DVD Shrink is creating an .iso, the preview looks great. Used Title 63. Will post again on how it did. I'll update with the new version in any case ... you guys do great work!

This is the DVDFab software forum and not the place to discuss workarounds using other software. A fix is forthcoming.

Title 66 is reported by every tool I have. Others titles may work, but check them carefully before burning. The fix is forthcoming.

Please do not refer to the holy grail of dvd ripping as "other" software. DVD Shrink was the one and only for a VERY long time. Many many of us here, remember it very fondly, and as demonstrated here, still use it to this day even though it has not been updated in close to 10 years now.

Also, any information is good information when it comes to software development / finding bugs. That's 101.

!!!DVD Shrink is not in competition with DVDFab!!! They are not comparable.

All you youngin's who weren't around and ripping when dvd's first came out are missing the point, I wont continue after this, as we don't want to derail the thread anymore.

DVD Shrink is not in competition with DVDFab, thats the point. DVD Shrink doesn't exist anymore, it was last updated in 2004, its heyday was in around 2002. In 20 years, we hope, DvdFab will still be the go to program it is today. However, eventually, DVDfab will be put on the shelf NEXT TO DVD Shrink as the Go To program of its time. DvdFAB was created based on the ground breaking work of Dvd Shrink. EVERYONE who uses DVDFab today, should worship the GOD that was, DVD Shrink.

DVD Shrink has virtually no decryption (at least in todays terms), which is why its VERY pertinent information to the DVDFab developers that it is able to rip this movie (if it actually is).

It is inferior other software and has nothing whatever to do with the issue at hand. Now leave it alone you have been warned.
