I have also been having problems duplicating The Man with the Golden Gun 1974 version of the DVD, but it sounds a little different from the one described above. After the original is copied, and I insert a blank, DVDFab detects the blank, then reports "Failed to burn DVD. Do you want to burn again?" with no further comments or messages. I retried it with PP off, but with the same result.
I took that same original and copied it using DVDShrink32 without any problems. My log file snippets follow.

So, this last log file is saying that I need to use a DL blank, but I've not encountered this issue with any other original or blank. The blanks I'm using are Sony; never had a problem with them until now. Thoughts?
I took that same original and copied it using DVDShrink32 without any problems. My log file snippets follow.
