    Been using Kodi since the OG Xbox days. Before it was called Kodi and before it was called XBMC.

        Straight from Gemini AI...

        As of July 26, 2025, the latest stable Chromium CEF release is 138.0.33+g276ed6d+chromium-138.0.7204.169, which is based on Chromium 138.0.7204.169.

        You can often find the most up-to-date information on the CEF Automated Builds page (https://www.google.com/search?q=cef-...spotifycdn.com) and the CefSharp GitHub releases page.
        We all know that's bad as streamfab 131.0.0.678.205 and Edge is at 138.0.3351.109 and Chrome is 138.0.7204.169

        Things can't be fully accomplished without proper access.
        Things need to be done with active moderatoration.

        Disclaimer: Use of a VPN can NOT be fixed by StreamFab staff or members.

          This is the typical case that one encounters in business nowadays where a spotty nerd with no business acumen has an "a-ha" moment and torpedoes the business model:-

          - most people watch the same stuff over and over again (so downloading it once actually saves on bandwidth in the long-term) while continuing to pay prime subscription regardless (plus channels);
          - most of those who download, download for personal use, scene and torrents are, in most cases, vendor leaks (don't ask how I know, I know that for a fact);
          - most of the stuff is available from torrents/file sharing sites at higher (4k/dovi) quality much cheaper (if not free);
          - most of the other benefits of prime are actually useless now that there's way more online competition for the sale of physical goods than there was in 2000s (even BD series are cheaper with smaller vendors through eBay, for example)

          Anyway, if I ever get that "warning." my prime video bill will go down to zero from about 300 bucks a year... Great business model, morons, carry on, Amazon I wonder what the real reason is for Bezos, Catz, and Dell dumping stock...

            Normal users stream a title at streaming rates and not don't pull titles at the max speed their ISP allows. IE stream vs download. They know who you are too.

              buy the gift card on your main account "for someone else" with your second account's email address, add the gift card code to your second account? ‍

                  Except I did none of these things and still got a warning. My "crime" was supposedly that I reached the 100 download limit more than 8 months ago on content I own. Still can't get over this. Why do they care for content I already own? I just want a secure copy of my stuff without relying on a freaking internet connection.

                    I suspect that *everyone* with a current Amazon account who has ever used Streamfab (or similar) to download a video will eventually get one of these emails. Those who've not yet gotten this email can't credit more circumspect use of Streamfab but rather just luck that they haven't yet been sent the email. Most likely Amazon has a list of *all* accounts they suspect have used a downloader and they are working through that list. Maybe the list is sorted alphabetically by name or user ID, or when users first subscribed, or maybe it's a random sort .. only Amazon knows.

                    Reading this thread and similar ones elsewhere, some who have downloaded 100s of files every week have yet to get an email, whilst others have. Some who've just downloaded a few videos in total from Amzaon have gotten the email, others have not. Some with VPNs but also some without. Some who only download have gotten the emails (but not all), but also some who watch and download have gotten the emails (but again not all). Who has gotten the email and who hasn't appears to be completely random .. or depends on whatever criteria Amazon is using to sort the list of "offenders" to send the email to. if you use SF to download from Amazon and haven't gotten an email yet ... I suspect it's just a matter of time before they get around to sending you one.

                      They don't care, chances are they had a pattern and they trawled logs for that pattern

                        My main account is in Canada. The gift card was for Amazon US.

                          So? Log in to .com with your Canadian account, buy a gift card in US$... I do that for hulu and vudu (my main account isn't a .com either)

                            There was someone who uses his account to purchase supplies for office regularly reported that his account got banned. It took him two emails and one phone call to get his account back, so, there is no pattern, or if there is one, no one has figured it out yet.

                              Sometime in early 2024, I used SF to download whatever the free trial allowed. 3 episodes I think? I ended up downloading a lot more using the now extinct competitor. No e-mail yet but if everyone gets them, guessing just a matter of time. Since I use a shared account for a place I maintain, going to have to hope it's just a warning and the account doesn't get canned. This situation a harsh reminder to use caution.

                                Based on the first post that I saw (Reddit) about this, it looks this was implemented around July 8th (give or take a day or two). Based on the comments I've read on here and Reddit, the ones getting the message, have downloaded something since July 8th, with a couple mentioning they got the message literally minutes after the download completed.

                                Even after all that I mentioned, there are still some that still haven't received anything and have downloaded since July 8th.

                                At the moment, I'm thinking this is a "point in time, going forward" because i would think they would have a way to rapid fire emails (or wouldn't take long to build) to people who haven't used it before July 8th.
