This version of the player (the ones that are arriving now) is a little different than the earlier ones. The clock does keep time when they are powered down, so it is worthwhile to set it.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Hard to say for sure about physical differences, I took one of the older ones apart but have not done so with the newer one. The case is slightly different, has a rubber-like coating on the plastic and the switches and buttons have a little better feel. The model number is slightly different, but the "software version" is the same.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Hi, Got my player last week. Seemed OK but as of a couple of days ago I also get no display when switching on. Just the blue light. I have made sure to fully charge and I have removed and replaced battery but no display, just blue light.
Any ideas? Is there maybe a combination of button pressing that can reset the unit to default settings?

Try using the A/V out cable and connecting it to a TV or monitor. You may have accidentlly set it to an output mode other than "LCD", which will produce the effect you are seeing. Hope it is not a problem with the display.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts

As far as I know there is no hardware reset available, short of removing the battery for an extended period. I have done a teardown of one from one of the earlier shipments and there was nothing on the PCB to reset. You may need to contact the service team in Beijing to see about exchanging the one you have. There is a setting that forces it to reload all defaults, but if the screen or video output is not available it does not help.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Re-read the early posts in the thread. I have been using a 32GB SDHC for some time. It is full!Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts

Sorry, my first one is this version also (no timekeeping), no way to change it that I know of. It may also be a hardware problem, something on the PCB.
