Also your screen shot of the Wolverine in post 4 shows a disc size of 3.9GB, which is incorrect for this movie.

If you use an original disc with the subs on it they will copy. I'm using VLC in my screenshot because DVDFab Media Player labels all subtitles "unknown" for some reason? I just copied this to check 9.1.2.2 to be sure.

Assuming you have some subtitles selected or included when you did the rip, they are there. They are just not being displayed by your player. I assume you just want the forced subtitles to show - like for the foreign language bits in the movie? I have this happen all the time and still can't understand why rippers don't recognize the forced subs for foreign language bits and flag them as forced or default.

Anyway here is what I do. If I know the movie has subtitles (or even if not), before I rip, play it in the preview window. Then by right clicking on the screen you can see what subtitle is selected (if any). Identify the correct one for your foreign language bits. There are probably several English subtitles available - they aren't numbered but just count from the top which one it is. Then go back to the ripper screen and hit the drop down for subtitles, find that sub, then click just to the left of it so the little blue triangle shows. This flags it as default and your player will now display it properly.

Thank You, Should i be using ripper instead of copy and in the drop down should i use forced or english normal captions?? I did play this one and right clicked but saw nothing about subtitles.

This will not work for you, use the original disc.

I didn`t mention using anything else but that. I intend using the original.
However, i`m more confused. Augerpro was talking about ripping. I`m still in the dark as how to get the subtitles.

Sorry I used ripper as generic term - I meant DVD Copy. Preview, identify the correct sub, then in the drop down select it and click to the left to get the traingle to flag as default.
