    I have a Matshita BD-CMB UJ141EL dvd/cd-rom drive.
I have the same unit & get the same results.
See my post. My main computer works great but this laptop can't handle FABDVD for some reason. Strange!

I know there is a problem with one of the Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers and SATA optical drives. I think it's 10.1.1008 go to Intel's site and roll back to 9.6.1014 and see if that helps.

No fix yet? May not be one coming. What if you replaced to Drive?

Try what 90312 suggested. This is not a DVDFab problem, it is your notebook. Contact Toshiba.

So if everyone who has a brand new toshiba laptop with a bluray read/write burner cannot get it to work, and I HAVE contacted toshiba, who blamed DVDFab' software, can someone point me in the direction of a software that does work so this rediculousness of the BSoD may end

I get the BSOD screen with my Toshiba (bluray drive), but also on my HP (DVD drive) laptop, both purchased in 2011. It's not just a Toshiba problem.

                HP with BD too

I thought we had established a long time ago that this is not a Toshiba brand problem.

I have a HP Pavillion DV7T laptop with a BD listed as an HP BD-RE BT11N. Which is generic speak so I don't know who really makes the drive or driver.
Usage is DVD Copy, haven't tried BluRay Copy.

How the call to eject is implemented or interpreted seems to be the problem. The BSOD indicates a bad call too. Device already attached when called. Bad resource implementation.

This has all been posted previously.

Successfull work arounds have been to split the operation into copy DVD to disk, then to do copy disk to DVD. Or in my case to select 'Do not eject....copying' and 'Do not eject....burning' in the preferences.

I have the DVD Copy Lifetime and was planning on upgrading to the Everything Lifetime this year,... until this problem occured. So this is affecting customer confidence and sales.

So what is the official take on this issue by the Fengtao engineers?

Hello XUBIN, Thank you for taking interest in this issue. I do not allow remote access into my systems, and I am not interested in causing any more BSODs as they have been rather destructive and time consuming to recover from. So if you would detail what you would be interested in having me do to gather information you need that would be fine. I have in the past sent in screen shots and dump info files and DVDFab info files and logs.

                      Hi alanbs,

I see. I need some informations provide by DVDFab Passkey, you can download it here: , after installed right click the "Passkey Icon" in the right bottom corner of screen. Then right click any drive tab as below.

Then send the .zip file to xubin@dvdfab.com, thank u.

You can uninstall DVDFab Passkey when done.

                      Thank you!

                        BSOD on toshiba Portege

My desktop that had DVDFAb just died. I tried using DVDFAB on my Toshiba Portege R835, Windows 7, 64bit, Matshita DVD-RAM UJBA2ES and have been getting the BSOD right after the drive ejects the disk after scanning.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing the newest version to no avail. I also tried all of the suggestions from previous threads. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a new Tochiba and I am getting the blue screen and this message as soon as my DVD burner kicks out the DVD that I am burning. Any ideas?

                              Thanks,

                              Susan

I'm a new Toshi P755 owner with the same problem. I have a DVD burner in mine but get the BSOD as soon as the tray attempts to eject. When I get back home I'll forward my dump files to xubin@dvdfab.com. But do we have any leads thus far?

I tried disabling the eject feature, but this does no good. As soon as I try and manually eject the disk to swap it, I get the BSOD.

Hoping you guys are getting a handle on this one. I really liked DVDFab on my old LT. I'd hate to switch.
