I believe the install to be self-contained, I keep an install on a USB thumb drive and it will run on any computer (in trial mode). I think if you run the executable from the working drive it will only look to C: for the key. Might tell us something about hardware configurations?
You might try installing from the working machine to a USB thumb drive and see if it works?Last edited by 90312; 05-28-2011, 07:19 PM.How to post the internal log

Now, I'm wondering why on this rig, it will not work. The other rig has the same exact hardware, bios, firmware and windows version.
The only difference is that this rig is made by Alienware and came with XPsp1 and has been upgraded to sp2 and then sp3. The rig that it works on is a duplicate that I built years ago and I put a retail version of XPsp2 that has been updated to sp3.
Just wondering if it has to do with how the updates were applied or maybe the order that they were installed in.(If that is even the case)Last edited by Frankster91; 05-29-2011, 05:36 AM.

It’s pointing toward hardware for sure, but I don’t think we can definitively say that it is hardware until you make the working drive the primary drive in the computer that doesn’t work. If it boots from the working drive and still won’t run its hardware, if it does run it’s a software conflict. How to post the internal log

My sub and main PC are different hardware.
Sub-PC is installed from non-SP CD-ROM, then update to SP2 and SP3.
DVDFabQT have no issue on sub-PC.
Main-PC is installed from merged non-SP, SP2 and SP3 DVD-ROM.

I fixed my issue!!!!!!!!!!!
I am please to say that I have fixed my issue with QT8092.
I uninstalled Ntune and uninstalled my Nvidia drivers. I disabled Norton and rebooted the system. I then reinstalled the Nvidia drivers 270.61 and reinstalled Ntune and rebooted the computer. I Installed the QT8092 package and it completed and is now running without an issue. Must have been an issue with the driver that QT8092 did not like but it is happy now and so am I.

Congratulations. I know you have put a huge effort into this!!!
Don't you just love the interdependencies?
Seriously though, this sort of problem is why I refuse to use CUDA, etc as you can't trust the manufacturers."Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." - Benjamin Franklin 1706-1790

Yeah, this one was making me pull my hair out but I was determined not to do the quick fix and reformat the drive. I wanted to try and narrow it down.
I would like to thank everyone for all the help and suggestions and the Moderators for allowing the ravings of my lunatic mind.
I hope this may help some others having this issue as well...

Didn't you have two computers that refused to install the Qt? Same issue/solution on both?
Yes, that corrected the issue on both. Not sure if it was with Ntune or the Nvidia driver but uninstalling them both and then reinstalling corrected the issue for me.

I'm not having any problems with my system so I'm content to wait to see if others start to report problems with 275.27.
