I'll be glad when a fix is out but right now I'm going to try a previous version to see if that works.

        Disc says Region 1 / 4

If so try putting the movie in with pathplayer off, choose Main Movie , out of the 92 choices pick Title 47 and press go.
May work with newer version of Fab just have not tried it yet.

This is how I got it, I sent Fengtao the IFO
Thanx bean55. Worked great for me. How do you figure out stuff like that?

I too have Transformers 2 and getting the read/write error message. I chose ignore all reading errors automatically, under the common settins & disabled the cache control and then my DVD start copying. However it prompted "Process completed successfully", yet it had only copied 52.38%

If you read the others threat you will see that Fengtao is waiting for the dvd, to update dvdfab

I'm with "vgoral" (Item #53). I did *not* miss the first two minutes, either. At first, I wasn't exactly sure the method he used to backup, since he only used the term "working copy". Anyway, I did disable Pathplayer (totally, as he said). I also went into the settings and told it to ignore all errors. I used the "Customize" feature, and chose *only* "title 47" as he mentioned. I have an exact working duplicate with no missing minutes -- and even chose the English subtitles (and the English language). Working fine so far. Blade, did you use "Customize"? Anyway, many thanks to "vgoral"! Have a great evening everyone!

Did what vgoral suggested (Newest beta version with PathPlayer disable works as long as you ignore all errors, used title 47, burned working copy)....started copying and received process fail error message at the end.

Having same problem with Blood: The last Vampire. Reading/Writing Error Control. Tried Beta 6118 and older versions of 5 and 6. will wait for Fangtao to come to the rescue, hopefully soon.

This works for some but not all.
For instance when I try this, the button where you click *NEXT* to begin burning will not click as Fab simply FREEZES up and will not let me do anything else. But as a customer of Fab for 2 years, I know a fix will soon arrive.

                        Temporary Solution

For Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the newest download release of DVDFab 6.1.1.8 worked for me as follows:

                        Disable Path Player
                        Restart DVDfab
                        Go to main movie
                        Choose title 47
                        Click start
You may get the error message but press ignore all & it will start.

Only problem is it took longer than normal & it of course is just the main movie with no menu options. But I guess this is a temporary solution until a fix is available.

Subscribing....also, tried the path player disable/title 47 but it came out like crap*. I will (patiently) wait for an update.

*Note, I did DVD to mobile, not DVD...

I did what was suggested in other threads...i.e., click the little green check mark in the upper right hand corner go to the settings. where it says "player path" I am going on memory here so if I get a few words wrong try to forgive me...then disable the path. you will be asked to restart dvdfab. afterwards everything should be working fine although with mine it took about 1 min to scan the disc. afterwards you have to scroll down to title 47. I did the preview thing just to make sure everything was working. I have read different things in the threads about this procedure, some saying it works others saying they tried an older version of dvdfab (disabling the path) and it worked. The key thing seems to be disabling the path though. I am actually in the process right now so sorry about not being more specific. Its going well so far.
