    Hi G & D...

It's pretty laid back here on the Gold Coast in Oz too.

Got a big weekend though. Going to a 40th military reunion tomorrow night and I suppose it'll be a big night drinking beer, telling lies and "Do you remember?"

One good thing though. I am actually receiving 3 new medals, one with 3 clasps, that the government "FORGOT" to give me and the best thing about it is that we've made the politician that has to do it pay double for his admittance.

    hehehe

The problem with being 60 is I usually don't have more than 1 pair of clean pants at a time...and I already had 'em on...

I can imagine, that sounds pretty good. Maybe I need to give up sunny California and move

Have a good time and drink one for those of use who can't be there, either because of passing away, disability or just plain old distance.

Congrats brother, I am sure you are proud, your men are proud and we are proud of you too, afterall brothers in arms no matter the stripes. I got two that they "forgot" as well in 2005 when I was briefly reactivated for 11 months. Its funny how they "forget" huh? We forget, we are AWOL or insubordinate, they forget, its bureaucracy

Yeah well we always figure living in LA we have the most stressful city, it was a kind of surprise not to be on the top, although I feel bad for the folks in the windy city. I would have guess LA or New York before that but turns out nope, Chicago is first, LA is second, NYC third, Cleveland fourth, Providence is fifth, San Francisco is sixth, now this is based on the Forbes list. The other list that was on our news, we were third, San Diego was fourth. They also did one for the countries too, I missed that one.

Since you guys had asked about any issues with board to report it. I just tried replying to several people at once and GB had 3 smilies and I had 2 in my reply and it wouldn't let me post saying there is 5 images and that's too much, sorry GB I had to delete your smilies in the reply I know why that is needed but given how tight this board is and spamming is not an issue, that limitation might be excessive, JMHO.
