YIPPEE!...UPS just dropped off my Win 7 64-bit, full install.

Where did you get it and how much for the full version Tom?

Hey Bob, signals is correct of course, but I changed my mind since...

Originally I had Win 7 Pro Upgrade for $99, pre-order special at the egg.
Realized a few weeks back that my current version of Win 7 RC 32-bit is NOT upgradable to 64 bit with the $99 special.

I canceled my order and just received a full install Win 7 Pro 64-bit from the egg for $134.99, free shipping.
Ok by me since I've never been a fan of upgrades anyhow.

Tom and wife have arrived at their new digs in South Carolina and are settling in. The stuff starts showing up tomorrow. I wish him well. The money it would take to get me to make a move like that has not been printed.

I am heading out right now to spend my whole day at the Windows 7 launch event for developers, fun fun (NOT) but they always give out full retail ultimate versions of the software, so I guess worth a few hours. Surprisingly it wasn't too bad. I actually had alot of fun. Lots of majorly geeky devs and we discussed the potentials of 7 and its amazing that the public doesn't even know that besides being their best OS, it is amazingly full of potential for developers. I am thinking about getting some sensors and building some kick ass spatial aware applications with multitouch interface, minority report, here we come. I guess the sad part is that only a geek developer like me would find something like this fun.
